Description
Summary:This paper looks at the structures and organisation of Corsica’s territory: a Mediterranean island and mountain, divided in two by nature, history and neighbours, but with reorientation effects ascribable to metropolitan France and the choice of tourism, which has become a major industry. The territory remains divided, and development is in jeopardy for lack of sufficient social, cultural and territorial integration.
