Summary:This paper analyzes the changes on Brazilian television network tv Globo, especially on local program df-tv. This program aims to increase public participation on journalistic production. It was employed a qualitative and ethnographic research. The results suggest a negotiation process between journalists, managers and public, which results on a conservative appropriation of content produced outside the newsroom.
