The present study is designed to assess these relationships among the workers from a cosmetic factories Yasuj city. Methods: This cross-sectional study was designed on 167 workers of factory. Psychosocial factors and health related quality of life were measured by the Persian versions of Job Content Questionnaire (P-JCQ) and the Persian version of World Health Organization Quality of Life-Brief (P-WHOQOL-BREF). An author-developed measure was used to assess socio-demographic, health, and work-related factors. Results: Means (SDs) for physical health, psychological health, social relationships, and environmental domains of HRQOL were: 13.4 (2.9) 13.8 (2.7) 14.5 (3.5) and 13.1 (2.4), respectively. Hierarchical multiple linear regression analysis indicated that supervisor supports, sleep quality and working schedule factors were significant predictors of domains of HRQOL. Conclusions: To improve the worker’s HRQOL, intervention programs should focus on promoting social supports, sleep quality, regular exercise, no smoking and controlling hazardous work environment.http://ioh.iums.ac.ir/article-1-1361-en.htmlpsychosocial factorsjob content questionnaire (jcq)health-related quality of life (hrqol)
