Summary: | Autoimmune encephalitis (AE) is a category of immune-mediated encephalitis, which attracts more and more attention recently. With the development of neuroscience, the antibody spectrum of AE is expanded gradually, and the knowledge of its etiology, pathogenesis and treatment is enriched. Although there are many unknowns, the results of these studies will shed new light to our hope that AE can be successfully treated in the future.
