The proposed method is compared with Walsh–Hadamard transform (WHT), discrete cosine transform (DCT), and discrete Hartley transform (DHT) pre-coding approaches in terms of PAPR reduction performance. Simulation results indicate that the proposed method effectively reduces the PAPR of an optical signal in both DCO-OFDM and ACO-OFDM techniques.
