Svetlova0Petrozavodsk State UniversityThe article presents the results of a study investigating the effect of prolonged treatment with Alflutop (5-year follow-up) on the radiographic progression of knee osteoarthritis (narrowing of the height of the X-ray articular cavity, osteophytosis, worsening of the radiographic stage of the pathological process). Medication was prescribed to 64 patients (mean age of 47.4 ± 11.6 years) at the early stages of the disease and was carried out by repeated courses. The comparison group consisted of 140 patients (mean age of 46.7 ± 10.4 years).
