| Summary: | This study aims to explore the types of microalgae that exist in Watervang Waterfall Lubuklinggau City. This research was conducted in June-July 2016 in area Watervang Waterfall of Lubuklinggau City. Sampling is done in the morning, done on two stations with three repetitions. The study is explorative descriptive: exploring the microalgae and identifying it. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitative. The types of microalgae found in waters of Watervang Waterfall of Lubuklinggau city consist of 3 Divisions, 6 classes of 14 genus and 15 species. The microalgae of the Bacillariophyceae class consists of 3 types: Synedra ulna, Rhizosolenia sp, Navicula sp. Chlorophyceae class consists of 7 types namely: Gonatozygon sp, Scenedesmus sp, Pediastrum duplex, Pediastrum singulex, Mougeotia sp, Selenastrum sp, Closteridium sp. Trebouxiophyceae class consists of 1 type, namely: Chlorella sp. Ulvophyceae class consists of 1 type: Ulothrix sp. Class Zygnemophyceae consists of 1 type: Pleurotaenium sp. Class Cyanophyceae consists of 2 types: Synechococcus sp and Oscillatoria sp.
