| Summary: | In this paper, which inaugurates a series of papers on this subject, a concept is proposed of a power system development model with regard to the technological structure of electricity generation in Poland, in the long-term time perspective – until 2060. The model is based on the mathematical structure of the MARKAL optimization package. The paper presents a brief description of the tool used in the model research. In addition, the optimization criterion is described and the structure of the Reference Energy System is presented. |
