Summary: | In this paper is presented the working
principle of genetic algorithms used to dimension
autonomous hybrid systems. It is presented a study
case in which is dimensioned and optimized an
autonomous hybrid system for a residential house
located in Cluj-Napoca. After the autonomous hybrid
system optimization is performed, it is achieved a
reduction of the total cost of system investment, a
reduction of energy produced in excess and a
reduction of CO2 emissions.
