So, based on DSP, field-programmable gate array(FPGA) and complex programmable logic device(CPLD), an universal control system was proposed for the high voltage power electronic devices. In the system, DSP is responsible for the system core algorithm and logic control, FPGA is responsible for the system voltage and current high-speed sampling, fast logic operation and multi frequency pulse width modulation(PWM) signal output, CPLD realizes the output PWM signal detection and fault locking function at a high speed, and separation of the main control board and other signal input and output boards expand controller applicability.
