| Summary: | Trade concerning military bases is the hope for Djibouti to realize an unique destiny. Indeed, since last year, the country welcomed major armies of the world. This trade of military bases is also a trap. Results of this trading activity are uncertain. On the other hand, the country suffers from an impaired sovereignty. Nevertheless, in fine national authorities have the opportunity to evict foreign military bases. In practice, using the power to impose the conditions of foreign military presence is really difficult. Nevertheless, Djiboutian authorities can organize a situation of competition between states which are present in their territory. Moreover, they can welcome a new state in order to increase the pressure for the states which are already present in Djibouti.
