Summary:At the present stage of the research, 12 fibulae with canid protome (germ. Tierkopffibeln) were discovered on the territory of Romania. With the excep¬tion of one item from Ocniţa (Wallachia), all the other fibulae come from the Eastern Carpathians area (Eastern Romania). These fibulae provide some valu¬able clues to the local chronology and allow some insight into the phenomena of imports circulation and acculturation in pre-Roman Dacia.
