Summary:The review focuses on clinical practice perspectives for angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARB). The authors discuss the results of the trials on biotransformation genes (CYP2C9) polymorphism and renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system influence on ARB pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.
