This article presents a transversal vision of the strategies put forward in treatises and manuscripts in order to tackle the problem of opening arches at the intersection of two walls, stressing the use of different typologies and the geometrical details, and using three-dimensional models in order to study the layout of the arches, the generation of intrados surfaces, the joints between voussoirs and the dressing process. All this showcases the geometrical knowledge of master masons, their ability to solve complex stereotomy problems and the richness of models used in order to materialise architectural members conceived for oblique vision.https://polipapers.upv.es/index.php/EGA/article/view/3704estereotomíageometríaarco en esquina y rincóncantería
