Memling deserves to be included in the list of the greatest Flemish artists of all due to his artistic opus and research. 'Portrait of a Reading Man' from The National Museum of Art in Bucharest strengthens Memling's painting reputation. I am, so far, the only person who has ever written a few sentences concerning this wonderful painting created at the very end of the artist's life.
