| Summary: | Increased consumption of catfish is an opportunity for fish farmers to be able to
develop their business. Existing opportunities must be followed by increasing the competence
of catfish farmers. Competency improvement must be supported by the availability of
fisheries production output inputs and extension support. The purpose of this study was to
analyze the effect of output support input production and extension support on the business
competence of catfish farmers in Tebing Tinggi District, Serdang Bedagai District. The data
used in this study are primary data and secondary data. This research was conducted in May
2019 until July 2019 in Tebing Tinggi District. The data used were obtained from interviews
using a questionnaire list. The number of sample used was 60 respondents of fish farmers
selected by simple random sampling technique. This type of research uses a quantitative
approach. The data analysis technique used in this study uses Smart PLS (Partial Least
Square) version 3.0. The results showed that input output support and extension support had
a positive and significant effect on business competence of catfish farmers |
