| Summary: | The article examines the issues of state and legal regulation of the agricultural sector of the Russian Federation, as a basic component of the country’s agro-industrial complex, at the present stage. The authors analyze the problems associated with the peculiarities of the regulatory support of the agricultural sector, focus on the priorities of the state socio-economic policy in the current conditions of the need for import substitution, including agricultural products. The article examines the methods and limits of government intervention in agricultural production. The most effective methods of state influence and stimulation of the subjects of agrarian legal relations in order to attract highly qualified personnel to the field of agriculture are analyzed.
