Summary:One of the basic activities of production is to obtain raw material having desired quality and quantity. The forest product industry establishments use different raw material and meet costumer’s demands based on their own structure and characteristics. In this study, 300 polls were applied for determination of raw material preference and procurement problems of forest product industry establishments in the Eastern Black Sea Region. As a result, the high price and unsuitable raw material dimension were determined as important problems.
