The main aim of this essay is to show the vision provided by the Nuncio of the reactionary reform that needs to be carried out. | Tras revisar la actitud favorable a la Restauración del Rey, el Papa y el Nuncio Gustiniani, se ofrece un análisis de los despachos que emitió el representante pontificio en Madrid entre finales de 1823 y principios de 1827 acerca de dos asuntos destacados: la situación de España y de la Iglesia, y las acusaciones de que son objeto tanto el país como la institución religiosa debido a su supuesta actitud reaccionaria. El objetivo principal es mostrar la visión que ofrece el nuncio acerca de la reforma de carácter reaccionario que a su juicio sería necesario implementar. |
