We have commented on the advantages as well as the challenges that exist in this technology and described the important factors that need to be kept under consideration for the calculation of the reliability for practical implementation of MEMS based devices and the scope of modeling. We have executed the work on SUGAR of MATLAB; the proposal is then compared to the recent developments taking place and with the other experimental result which are reported. Thus a comprehensive modeling aspect of MEMS based elements of a WSN is shown. Modeling of tunable comb resonators, Vertically-shaped comb-resonators and thermal actuator has been shown and the implication of modeling in such devices has been shown.
