Such critics nowadays are inserted in a project of medicalization of the psychic aiming to treat psychopatology according the same parameters used in the definition of the organic illness. Examining the notions that give theoretical support to medicalization - that is, health and life - the authors want to demonstrate the epistemological fragility of such notions.
