Description
Summary:This research is based on the assumption that Technical Assistance and Rural Extension in recent years has made a difference in the life of the family rural farmer, by bringing this public closer to previously unknown technical knowledge, and by providing easier access to existing public policies. . The main objective is to diagnose the impacts on the life of the family farmers who benefit from the ATER service within the sheep farming activity. This research was developed from a simplified theoretical framework on themes that justify Ater's action in the Dom Helder Câmara Project that is being carried out in the municipality of Santana do Ipanema,in the hinterland of Alagoas. Although the project is still under development, given the extension of its duration, it is possible to state that there was an improvement in working conditions for those benefiting from the project.
