The confrontation of this sculptures shows that their authors worked at the same time, both inspired in particular by miniatures of the codex Guta-Sintram, a manuscript completed in 1154 in Marbach/Schwarzenthann. Moreover some written documents testify that the two artists worked about the middle of the 12th century.
