These reflections have the intention of considering the culture praxes originated from socialization processes. In order to develop this idea I present the argument in three axes. The fi rst refers to the proximity between sociology of culture and sociology of education, by exploring the importance of the notion of socialization. Second, I explore the concept of habitus as it allows us to observe the praxes as a way of individual or group expressivity and understand it as a dialogue between individual and society; at last, I will base this article on the notion of distinction, for it allows the understanding that praxes, beyond integrating, have the function of classifying the social groups hierarchically. <b>Keywords:</b> Socialization. Culture praxes. Distinction. Estas reflexões têm como intenção considerar as práticas de cultura com origem nos processos socializadores. Para desenvolver esta idéia apresentarei o argumento em três eixos. O primeiro deles se refere à proximidade entre sociologia da cultura e sociologia da educação, explorando a importância da noção de socialização. Em seguida, explorarei, no conceito de habitus, na medida em que ele permite observar as práticas como uma forma de expressividade dos indivíduos e ou dos grupos e entendê-la enquanto um diálogo estabelecido entre individuo e sociedade; por último terei apoio na noção de distinção, pois ela permite compreender que as práticas além de integrar cumprem a função de classifi car hierarquicamente os agrupamentos sociais. <b>Palavras-chave:</b> Socialização.
