Description
Summary:In this article, we note that an activity cannot be only defined by its effective form as well as the targeted subject's learning processes engaged in performing the task. An activity is hereby described as the knowledge of the subject to be learned, in the means of its structure as well as how it can impact student's state of knowledge, and how this influence can be regulated. Results of interdisciplinary research, concerning the specification and modeling of teaching activities for the apprenticeship of reading, are presented here. The results aim at giving more insights on the subject, in order to build an adaptive learning environment that keeps track of student's learning achievements and process. This article is structured in several parts: presentation of the team's research methodology, structure of activity requirements, computational models deduced, and finally their implementation in an adaptive learning environment.
