Description
Summary:In the paper, we analyze the main psychological approaches to suicidal behavior, including those applied to adolescent suicides. The models that emphasize the factors that play a significant role in the transition from suicidal thoughts to a potentially lethal suicidal attempt (interpersonal theory, integrative motivational-volitional model, three-step theory) are highlighted. Studies conducted among adolescents on the basis of psychological models of suicidal behavior are presented. The main specific features of modern models of suicidal behavior are indicated.
