Summary: | The importance of the evaluations of quality in education nowadays it is evident, despite the high level of disagreement over the concept of educational quality, over its measurement and its improvement. This article presents sorne brief reflections about the subjectivity ofthe concept of educational quality and shows a review ofthe origin and evolution ofthe awareness ofthe evaluation of educational quality. It also tries of highlight sorne ofthe possible risks and contributions for education ofthose evaluations. Finally, the conclusion is the need of continuing working in finding broad definitions of quality and the caution for the interpretation ofthe results of current evaluations. |
