In addition, for the functions and duties inherent in the functional position of lecturer is conducted in accordance with the rules in force, it is necessary to assess the performance of lecturers guarantee a quality learning process in higher education. Implementation of faculty performance ratings are intended not to complicate the lecturer, but otherwise the faculty performance assessment carried out to achieve a professional lecturer, because the dignity of a profession is determined by the quality of professional services quality. To be able to produce accurate reports of faculty performance, of course, need a method that can involve many components or criteria assessed (multi-criteria), so that the solution required a decision support system with multiple criteria. Methods of multicriteria decision support systems, among others, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), but both have different measurement methods vary. The results of this research is to apply the method SAW and AHP in which the assessment of faculty performance involves criteria and sub-criteria and performance appraisal system lecturers. The criteria and sub-criteria can be added or reduced in accordance with existing regulations.
