Initially, the study was based on problems caused by uncritical adaptations of complete e-commerce sites to be accessed via smartphones. After conducting an exploratory research, it was noticed that the barrier most faced by users was independent of the device; it was related to the lack of confidence users have in the measurements of the apparel manufactured by the Brazilian clothing industry. This issue, in addition to being a usability problem by inducing users to error, had a great impact on the user experience (UX).
