Summary: | Th is article tackles the issue of social reintegration among ex-prisoners, treating the steady employment thereof as one of the key factors determining the success of this process. Th is issue is considered in light of the contemporary relational discrimination theory, with fi ndings of the author’s own research presented, aiming at identifying employers’ attitudes and reactions when a candidate for the job holds the status of a former inmate. The conclusions drawn from the research constitute the grounds for drawing up demands regarding the support for re-adaptation among ex-prisoners, support leading to their successful social reintegration.
