Summary:<p><strong>Purpose</strong></p><p>Formation of the assessment’s competence of the teenagers.</p><p><strong>Methodology </strong></p><p>Technology of the assessment’s competence formation of the students of the 5<sup>th</sup> to the 6<sup>th</sup> grade of the secondary school.</p><p><strong>Results</strong></p><p>The technology of the assessment’s competence formation of the students of the 5<sup>th</sup> to the 6<sup>th</sup> grade of the secondary school is presented. It includes following steps: determination of the study’s aim, definition of the criteria for gaining the aim, co called key parameters, which are important in the process of evaluation of students’ studies; self – evaluation in the process of studies; self-control of the students and the ability to compare self results with the desired results; reflection of the study’s results.</p><p><strong>Practical implications</strong></p>Educational process in the institutions that implement Federal State Educational Standard of secondary education.
