Summary:This article analyzes the recent labor reforms carried out in Brazil and France, based on the discussion about the current trends of capitalism at the international level. The text underlines the cut in labor rights, the changes in the way of hiring, the changes in the negotiation between capital and labor and the tendencies of weakening unions, highlighting the similarities and differences in both processes. The research was carried out in both countries, based on bibliographic and documentary analysis and interviews with researchers and union members.
