Propos d’une spectatrice engagéeKmar BendanaThe article shows the trajectory of a Tunisian historian confronted with a political revolution changing her professional practices after 2011. Faced with the competitive uses of memory and helped by the stimulations of the profession, the scholar engages with other ways of teaching and writing, more in touch with the facts and the surrounding debates. Without having experienced censorship before, she evolves more freely in the choice of objects of study, by placing them in the temporalities of the Tunisian history.
