Summary:Global financial crisis revealed possibilities of access to public and private financing and national governments started to regulate financial sector more strictly. Private equity presents a new way of debt financing, and cheap money supported massive growth of industrial sectors of individual countries. Contribution analyzes index of private equity attractiveness and risk capital, presenting the attractiveness of individual European countries. Analysis was orientated to the performance of individual industries, orientated to the relation among indexes, industries and private equity acting in industry. Results show individual private equity investments and economic value show growth in individual countries. Countries with best performance recorded high growth of PE funds in spite of economic crisis. Similar results are recorded in most European countries.
