Various predisposing conditions include inversion of testis, high investment of tunica vaginalis, etc.[2] In a suspected case, Doppler ultrasound of scrotum is the investigation of choice; failing which exploration of the scrotum is the option left out. In our case series, we present cases with different mode of presentation to highlight the serious implications of misdiagnosis of testicular torsion. Objective: The aim was to determine the surgical outcome of all scrotal explorations performed on patients presenting with acute scrotal pain suspicious of testicular torsion. Materials and Methods: This was a surgical audit on a series of cases of testicular torsion. The cases included in the study were those in whom the diagnosis was either testicular torsion or orchitis. For each case the following details were captured; age of the individual, time of presentation, findings on surgery, confirmation of diagnosis after surgery and outcome of the patient's testis involved. Observations: With the above methodology, findings were recorded from 10 patients and analyzed.
