Description
Summary:The study programme "Adapted physical activities" (ATV) has had a long tradition in the Czech Republic. Based on its specific legislative practice, the professional assert is highly obvious. Nevertheless, the public is not so widely informed about the programmeʼs possibility. The "Adapted physical activity" programme is accredited as a bachelor and master study, both in the present and distant form of study. The major goal of this study was to analyze the professional succes of graduates of Adapted physical activities in their profession. The study was a part of GAČR project nr. 406/05/2670 ("Success of graduates from the chosen faculties in the study programme "Physical education and sport" on the job market in the Czech Republic" (Jansa et al., 2005)). The study continues researches done in 1995 (Válková) and 1999 (Jansa & Kocourek) which dealt with success of graduates from pedagogical faculties and faculties of physical education. For the former studies a standardized questionnaire was used.
