Summary:Summary: Trophoblast cells are the first differentiated cells formed from a fertilized egg during mammalian development, and they secrete several autocrine and paracrine factors essential for sustaining pregnancy. In pathological conditions, these cells secrete various proinflammatory cytokines affecting both maternal and fetal health. Here, we provide a detailed protocol for isolation, maintenance, differentiation, and detection of factors secreted from trophoblast stem (TS) cells. This protocol provides conditions for inducing genotoxic stress in differentiated TS cells and detecting the effects on cytokine production.For complete details on the use and execution of this protocol, please refer to Singh et al.
