Over the years, the development of shrimp farming has grown significantly, bringing financial returns, but their uncontrolled growth generated several impacts on the environment, the economy and also society. Brazil is considered one of the countries that produce shrimp and this is due to the favorable climate for its cultivation. Negative impacts may be short or long term, involving ecological imbalance, environmental pollution, disease outbreaks, among others.
