Description
Summary:Assessment is not an activity that should be limited to the teacher but involving learners in this process enhances their metacognitive activity and can improve their communicative competence. In this paper, we analyze a corpus of assessment reports written by FLE students at level B1, where they analyze two monologue discourses. Our results show that the instructions received determine the elements they detect, the degree of depth and the quality of their appraisals. Therefore, it is necessary to design an instrument that encourages meaningful reflection and a continuous training so that this peer assessment activity contributes to improving their future productions.
