<p>În articol este realizată o examinare a semnificaţiilor istorice ale conceptelor mentor, discipol şi mentorat. Valoarea epistemologică a termenilor a contribuit la preluarea metodelor incipiente ale mentoratului şi la adaptarea lor la practi-<br />cile de dezvoltare a umanităţii pe parcursul evoluţiei istoriei. Autorul identifică semnificaţia aplicării activităţilor de mentorat în mai multe state ale lumii şi abordează acest subiect în noile politici educaţionale ale Republicii Moldova.</p><p><strong>THE HISTORICAL EVOLUTION OF MENTORING IN EDUCATION</strong></p><p>The content of article represents an examination of historical meanings of the concepts: mentor, disciple and mentoring. The epistemological value of terms contributes to taking over the incipient mentoring methods and their <br />adaptation to humanity development during of historical evolution. The author identifies the impact of applying of mentoring activities in many countries as well as approaching of this subject in up-to-date educational politics of the <br />Republic of Moldova.</p>
