The test group was divided into four groups regarding age and sex. Measurements were performed using a mobile application and a blood pressure monitor. The phone's accuracy with respect to the blood pressure gauge was measured and the statistical significance of differences between age groups, sex and activity was also computed. Measurement inaccuracy varies from 4 to 12%. The mobile application accurately reproduces the pulse during rest. https://ph.pollub.pl/index.php/jcsi/article/view/613pulse; heart rate; mobile application
