The overall results of statistical analysis showed that the stereotype of Saudis was favorable. An increase in favorableness was shown after arrival. The sample showed no variance in stereotype as they differed in age, sex, and socio-economic status, but they do show variance in stereotype as they differ in religion and education. However, such variance vanished after arrival as their level of education increases. Also, variance after arrival was shown in the overall stereotype with differences in occupation and length of stay in Saudi Arabia, No association was found with either the prior or after arrival contact. Discussions and theoretical implications of these results are offered.https://jes.ksu.edu.sa/sites/jes.ksu.edu.sa/files/0016-01-011_0.pdfStereotypeSaudis SojournersSaudi Arabia |
