Surface water quality indicators of Danube Delta lakes between 2003-2005

The most important indicators that are recommended to be analysed for quality classes clasification according with 161//2006 Normative are presented in a mutiannual dinamic 2003-2005. We determined totalmineral nitrogen concentration, total phosphorus concentration and heavy metals: cadmium, zinc, copper and lead. The biogene elements like nitrogen and phosphorus have concentrations corresponding for good waters, under 1.13 mg/l for nitrogen and for phosphorus 0.4 mg/l in 2003. For the heavy metals analysed, we observe theconcentrations that surpasses the limits for the second quality classes are cadmium and lead.
