Peasants forms of labor behavior: survey results of the rural life way

The article deals with impact of reform of agriculture of Ukraine on rural lifestyle. In the sociological study of rural lifestyle described existing forms of labor behavior of peasants: farming, farm personal, employment, collecting, seasonal agricultural work. In modern Ukrainian sociological discourse rural everyday life almost unexplored, not conducted comprehensive and specialized study of the village, there is no empirical evidence about the manner and style of living of peasants. Therefore, in January ­ February 2014 conducted 15 focus group discussions revealed that the actual practice of peasants adapting to sociocultural and economic area. Employment issues peasants are quite complex and contradictory to explore, so we conducted a study combining official statistics estimated the peasants, and conversations with experts’ evaluation inside «during the focus group discussions. Additional sources of empirical information about the actual sociological characteristics of life of villagers were: twenty­year monitoring of the Ukrainian Society of the Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and sample survey data of the Ukraine State Statistics Committee.
