As the fourth largest Muslim populated country and becoming the host of second largest annual Muslim gathering “Biswa Ijtema”, this country holds a bright prospect for a halal tourism destination. Halal tourism promotes the needs of Muslim tourists through facilities, infrastructure, and tourism products and services. The present study is an attempt to investigate the prospect of developing halal tourism in Bangladesh.
