Description
Summary:The objective of this work is to approach the intervention of the City Council in the development of the Corpus Christi festivity and the subsequent enshrinement of the urban space through the procession. We have intentionally chosen two villages far from religious and economic power centres to analyze and highlight the relevance of the local government initiatives, using taxes for religious purposes even if that meant going against their own interest. Likewise, we highlight the relevance of the local administrative office in the creation of the necessary documents for the festivity. The Council Diplomas are examined under the area of research defined by the studies of Municipal Diplomacy.
