Summary:A dermoid is an overgrowth of normal, noncancerous tissue in an abnormal location. Dermoids occur all over the body. The one in and around the eye usually comprised skin, hair, and/or fat. Our patient had an unusual presentation of dermoid in caruncle of the left eye. The mass was excised and histology confirmed the diagnosis. The patient followed up postoperatively and was uneventful.
