Dynamic bearing capacity of a lattice girder in regard to cyclical impulse loads

This paper discusses the behavior of the statically single undetermined steel lattice girder under the pointed node load. This load action has the nature of the repeating cycles of the pulseI = P·τ[sub]0[/sub]. For the assumed time τ[sub]0[/sub], such a value of the load...

For the assumed time τ[sub]0[/sub], such a value of the load was established that the response of the lattice girder during the initial action cycle caused the plastification of the one rod. It is due to the dynamic action that the mentioned rod receives an elastic-plastic deformation. The purpose is to find such a value of the load P = P[sub]p[/sub] that would induce the vanishment of the plastic energy dissipation in the succeeding cycles. It is namely the load bearing capacity, resulting from the shakedown of the lattice girder to the assumed impulsive loading that constitutes the searched value. Keywords: theory of shakedown, lattice girder, cyclical load, impulse load http://biuletynwat.pl/icid/1168890theory of shakedownlattice girdercyclical loadimpulse load
