Summary:This text analyzes the higher education in two main viewpoints: the first one refers to the access and permanence difficulties in this teaching level regarding the education financing, the selection processes and students educational opportunities. The second point refers to the proposed formation for higher education in narrow syntony with the market. This proposal prioritizes an immediate and adaptive knowledge that limits the access to the technical-scientific preparation for the work world and the critical thinking diffusion in the society.
