Description
Summary:Many projects in Colombia do not finish within the proposed objective, in time and with the estimated resources. This problem occurs in all types of projects, and is particularly accentuated in construction projects, Ocaña is not alien to this problem where projects of great social impact are affected by processes that cause delays, cost overruns and low quality, affecting the success of the same. In this document an analysis of these processes is carried out in all phases of the construction project according to international methodologies. For the study, the P.M.I® (Project Management Institute) approach is adopted, as it is the most accepted worldwide; This allows us to identify the processes badly carried out by the builders of our region, in order to develop actions that allow finding the potential causes that generate problems in these processes, evaluate them and generate alternative solutions through the implementation of project management tools and techniques aimed at international standards, in this case PMI®.
